Under the Boardwalk

Friends of the S. June Smith Center gathered at The Riverdale Manor, Lancaster, to start the summer early and have some fun "Under the Boardwalk" while raising money to support children with development disabilities and delays.  Along with a picturesque location, there were boardwalk-style food stations and games including a ping pong toss, putting green, and caricatures. 

The highlight of the evening was the Brent L. Miller Jewelers & Goldsmiths' Treasure Hunt.  The game's namesake donated nearly $3,000 in jewelry treasures, and guests scooped sand to find them. A live and silent auction complimented the evening and included beach houses, apparel and accessories, artwork, and sports memorabilia valued at more than $14,000.
